MSI adds to it Wind netbook line the new Wind U210, which is powered by AMD’s Neo processor, like Gateway’s LT3103u, instead of the commonly used Intel Atom platform.
Two models will be released, the Wind U210-002 and the Wind U210-010. Both of them are boosted by AMD’s Athlon Neo MV-40 1.6GHz processor and ATI’s Mobility Radeon X1250 graphics. The former has 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive while the latter gets 2GB memory and 250GB storage.
The MSI Wind U210 supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g and comes with a 12.1-inch LCD display and a webcam. It measures 297 x 190 x 31mm and weighs 1.5kg. The U210-002 costs Euro 399 and the U210-010 is priced at Euro 449.
