Samsung officially launches the new YP-CP3 portable media player in Hong Kong. The portable player has 8GB internal memory and a SD/MMC card slot for expansion. It gets a 3-inch 400×240 LCD display, an omni-directional control button, FM tuner and a USB 2.0 connector.
Samsung’s YP-CP3 supports RM/RMVB video format, which is probably the first in Samsung’s PMP lineup. Other supported formats include MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, RM, WAV audio, MPEG4, SVI, 3GP, AVI, WMV video, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG images and TXT text file. The CP3 does also voice recording.
Samsung YP-CP3 is priced at HK$998 (US$129).
