Ricoh releaes the new CX2 compact super-zoom digital camera, follow up to the CX1. The CX2 features a 10.7x super-zoom lens with a 28mm wide angle. As slim as 29.4mm thick, the CX2 packs a 9.29 Megapixel CMOS image sensor, Smooth Imaging Engine IV image processor, and a 30inch LCD display.
Ricoh’s new CX2 does high-speed continuous shooting at 5fps at 9 Megapixel and up to 30fps at 2 Megapixel. It even does 120fps shooting at VGA quality. The compact camera offers ISO up to 1600, Dynamic Range Double Shot Mode, face detection, Image sensor shift method image stabilizer for motion blur reduction, and 1cm macro shooting.
The CX2 records 640×480 video at 30fps. It supports SD/SDHC cards up to 32GB and has 88MB onboard memory. Ricoh CX2 is priced at GBP299.99.
