BenQ announced in Japan the M2700HDS 27-inch Full HD LCD display. To be released in late 2009, the BenQ M2700HDS features 1920x1080p Full HD resolution, 300cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. It has built-in 2.5Wx2 speakers.
The 27-inch M2700HDS offer two HDMI ports, a DVI-D and a D-sub inputs.
Also announced are two LED-backlight displays, the 19-inch G920WL with 1280×800 resolution and 5 million:1 contrast ratio and the 18.5-inch G922HDL with 1366×768 resolution and 2million:1 contrast. Both models have 250cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 1000:1 typical contrast. These LED displays will be released October/November.
