Nokia announced the new Booklet 3G, a mini laptop with integrated 3G/HSPA connectivity as well as WiFi. The lightweight Booklet 3G features an ultra-portable aluminum chassis and weighs just 1.25kg.. It has integrated A-GPS support with Ovi Maps.
Nokia‘s Booklet 3G has a 10.1-inch 1366×768 LCD display, a webcam, a SD card slot, Bluetooth and three USB 2.0 ports. According to Nokia, the 3G netbook is equipped with Atom processor and offers HDMI port. It has an ultra long battery life of up to 12 hours.
Some sources said that it is getting Intel Atom Z530 processor. As NVIDIA and Broadcom are not involved in the Booklet 3G, according to engadget; the device will probably pack the Intel GMA500 graphics, like Dell’s Mini 10, which also includes HDMI. (What if the Booklet 3G is just an OEM from Dell?)
More details will be announced at Nokia World on September 2.
