Sony and Best Buy jointly launches the new ALTUS audio product line, featuring a stylish assortment of wireless music systems, speakers, and home theater products.
Sony ALTUS AIR-SW10Ti ipod docking system
First of all, there are two docking systems for iPod/iPhone. The ALT-SA31iR multi-room iPod package includes a docking station for iPhone/iPodand two wireless speakers. The $700 package includes FM/AM tuner and S-AIR remote commander with an LCD display. The Sony AIR-SW10Ti, on the other hand, is a $400 iPod docking system offering a maximum output of 60-watt RMA.

Sony ALTUS ALT-A32PC PC audio multi-room packages
Then two PC audio multi-room packages are introduced. The ALT-SA32PC includes an S-AIR transmitter that connects to your PC via USB input and two high-output wireless speakers. The ALT-A33PC has also the same USB S-AIR transmitter but includes a universal receiver that can connect to a variety of audio products with its analog audio inputs. The ALT-SA32PC and ALT-A33PC are priced at $500 and $200 respectively.
Sony ALTUS ALT-SA34R Socket Speaker Package
Sony also brings the ALT-SA34R Socket Speaker Package that has two S-AIR wireless speakers and an S-AIR remote commander with LCD display. The package is compatible with all S-AIR enabled transmitters. It is priced at $350.
Sony ALTUS BDV-E500W 5.1-channel Blu-ray home theater system
Lastly, Sony BDV-E500W 5.1-channel Blu-ray home theater system is also part of the ALTUS line. The system comes with wireless rear speakers and is compatible with any S-AIR devices. The BDV-E500W features support for BD-Live for online interactive content, and advanced audio codecs, including Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio, and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding as well as bit-stream. Sony’s Digital Media Port is also available The Sony BDV-E500W is priced at $800.
