We’ve seen several shots of the mysterious MID running Android yesterday and now the device gets identified as the MID-560 from ShenZhen-based company, SMIT.
The SMIT MID-560 is powered by Samsung’s 6410 System-on-Chip and a 533MHz or 667MHz ARM11 processor. It packs a 5-inch 800×480 touchscreen, built-in CMMB (China’s Digital TV standard) TV tuner, built-in GPS receievr, 2GB/4GB/8GB internal storage and a microSD card slot.
The MID-560 supports also WiFi wireless connectivity. It is able to record digital TV programs, thanks to its CMMB receiver and it plays H.264, H.263, DivX and XviD videos. The device runs Android OS version 1.5. SMIT doesn’t provide any info about pricing and availability.
