Onkyo introduces the successor  to the TX-SR806 and TX-SR-706, the TX-NR807 and TX-SR707, two new AV receivers with THX-Select2 Plus badge. The TX-NR807 includes Ethernet LAN networking function and supports streaming from Pandora, Rhapsody, Sirius internet radio services. Thanks to the networking capability, the receiver can also stream MP3, WMA, FLAC, Lossless, Ogg Vorbis, and AAC music from networked computers. It is also DLNA 1.5 compatible.

Both TX-NR807 and TX-SR707 support high-quality audio processing, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Pro Logic IIz and Audyssey DSX. The TX-NR807 has seven powerful 135-watts-per-channel Onkyo WRAT (Wide Range Amplifier Technology) amplifier. The TX-SR707 offers  7 x 100-watts power and lacks networking feature.

These receivers do 1080p video upscaling of all sources using the powerful Faroudja DCDi Cinema processor chip. They have six HDMI ports, multiple DC triggers, bidirectional RS-232 and Universal Port for iPod connection. TX-NR807 and TX-SR707 are priced at $1099 and $899 respectively.
