Astak introduces the 5-inch EZ Reader Pocket PRO e-book reading device that is made to provide a strong contender that will give Amazon’s Kindle a run for its money. Boosted by a 400MHz processor and Epson controller, the EZ Reader has 512MB of memory, a SD card sloy and a 5-inch 8-level grayscale E-ink display with 600×800 resolution.
Astak’s new e-reader supports ovr 20 DRM-free formats as well as copyright-protected PDF ebooks. It includes PDF reflow and text-to-speech functions. Other than e-book reading, the EZ Reader does also MP3 playback. It’s replaceable battery offers up to 8,000 page turns on one full charge.
Priced at $199, the Astak EZ Reader Pocket PRO is available in Black, White, Maroon, Blue, Pink and Purple.
