Sprint brings to the market two new 3G/4G to WiFi broadband routers, the Sprint Personal Hotspot PHS300S and the Cradlepoint MBR-1000 Broadband Router. The former supports up to four simultaneous Wi-Fi connections while the MBR-1000, designed for business, can handle up to 32 simultaneous Wi-Fi connections.
Both WiFi routers need Sprint’s 3G EVDO or 4G WiMAX USB modems in order for them to get mobile connection. They are designed to bring Sprint’s 3G/4G network connection to any WiFi-enabled devices.
The Sprint Personal Hotspot PHS300S is priced at $159.99 while the Cradlepoint MBR-1000 costs $249.99.
