Yamaha introduces the RX-V1065, a new 7.2-channel digital home theater AV receiver. The receiver offers 105W x 7 output power. It supports Dolby TRUE HD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital EX, DTS HD Master Audio, DTS NEO 6 audio decoding as well as 1080p video upscaling.
The RX-V1065 includes several Yamaha’s technologies such as Cinema DSP 3D audio processing, Pure Direct technology, Compressed Music Enhancer, Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer (YPAO), Deep Color (30/36 bit) technology, 120Hz/24Hz Refresh Rates and Auto Lip-Sync compensation.
The 7.2-channel receiver is compatible with HD radio and is Sirius/XM satellite radio ready, with XM HD Surround. It can be used with YDS-11 Universal Dock for iPod access or the YBA-10 Bluetooth audio receiver for connecting Bluetooth devices.
Yamaha RX-V1065 has four HDMI in and one HDMI output and a USB port for audio (WAV, WMA, MP3) playback. It is priced at $999.95.
