Acer adds to its Aspire M series two new models, the Intel-based ASM5800 and the AMD-powered ASM3202. Both models are powered by quad-core processor and are now available in Japan.
The Acer Aspire M ASM5800 is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Quad 2.83GHz quad core processor, up to 8GB RAM, up to 1TB hard drive and either an ATI Radeon HD 4650 WITH 1GB memory or a 1.5GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 230 graphics card. It gets a Blu-ray drive.
The Aspire M ASM3202, instead, packs an AMD Phenom II x4 925 2.8GHz quad core processor, up to 8GB memory and a 750GB hard drive. It is equipped with ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics and a DVD SuperMulti burner.
Acer’s ASM5800 and ASM3202 are priced at 139,800 and 69,800 Yen respectively.
