Seeing the success of Amazon’s Kindle DX e-book reader, it looks there is a market for large-screen e-readers. At an investor conference, AU Optronics CEO LJ Chen said that the company, as to capitalize the market, is going to ship 6-inch to 9-inch e-epaper for e-readers starting in Q3 2009. The e-paper will have in-cell or on-cell touch panels. AUO will also develop e-paper at 10-inch and even A4 sizes.
