Solara introduces a new handheld interactive satellite text messenger, the Field Tracker 2100. The device features auto GPS tracking and “2-way communications anywhere on earth.” It operates over the Iridium satellite network.
The lightweigh handheld Field Tracker 2100 packs automatic position reporting, bidirectional text messaging, GPS utility functions and an intuitive 2-way Emergency Alert notification system. Solara offers a web-based client interface for the Field Tracker 2100, which does tracking of multiple units with online maps, reading and sending text messages to individual Field Tracker 2100 units and broadcast to multiple units. The device is available now.
