LG introduces the XF1 multimedia hard drive that does storage and media playback. The XF1 is available with 320GB and 500GB capacities. It supports AVI, XviD, DAT, MPEG1/2/4, VOB video files; MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, AAC audio as well as JPEG, BMP images and SRT, SUB subtitles. However, H.264 codec and Full HD content are not supported.
LG XF1 can be formatted in both FAT32 and NTFS file format. It has a HDMI 1.1 output and a USB 2.0 connector. Pricing and availability have not been announced.
