Gigabyte launches in Taiwan market its GSmart S1200 slim PDA phone, which is first announced at the MWC 2009. The S1200 is just 11.4mm thick and weighs just 102.5 grams. The GSmart S1200 is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7200A 528MHz procssor, 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM and runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional (with free WM 6.5 Upgrade in the future).
In such as slim body, the GSmart S1200 packs a 3.1-inch 800×480 touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel auto focus camera, built-in SiRF Star III GPS receiver, Bluetooth, WiFi and HSDPA/HSUPA support. Gigabyte also brings the Smart Pack UI to the S1200 offering three themes, the Chinese Painting, Live Nature and Smart Touch. There is also G-Widget function.
Gigabyte GSmart S1200 is now available in Taiwan for NT$16,800 (USD$510).
