Chinese divison of Australian company, Optima, introduces the OP5-E Mobile Internet Device (MID) that runs Maemo Linux that is normally found Nokia’s device. The Optima OP5-E features a 4.3-inch 800×480 LCD touchscreen and a 3 Megapixel camera. It is boosted by a Marvell PXA320 806MHz processor, 256MB Flash ROM and 128MB RAM.
The 4.3-inch MID supports WiFi 802.11b/g, and CDMA2000 1X EVDO 3G connectivity. There are also integrated GPS receiver and Bluetooth 2.0. The device has built-in speaker and microphone which mean you can use it as a mobile phone.
Optima OP5-E supports microSD cards up to 16GB. It comes with a 2,600mAh battery that is god for 8 hours of use. No availability and pricing information have been announced.
