Samsung presents the SL720 (aka PL70) and SL502 (aka PL55) entry-level digital cameras. These cameras have 12.2 Megapixel image sensor and 5x optical zoom lens.
The Samsung SL720 features 28mm wide angle, a 3-inch LCD display, ability to record 720p HD video in H.264 format and optical and digital dual image stabilization. The SL502, instead, has a 35mm lens, a 2.7-inch display, and 640×480 video recording.
Both SL720 and SL502 offer Smart Auto, Smart Album, Smart Face Detection, and Perfect Portrait System function. The former costs $229.99 while the latter will be priced at $149.99. They will be released in August 2009.
