Rock Xtreme 790 and Xtreme 840 Gaming Notebooks

Stone Group’s Rock introduces two new gaming notebooks, the Xtreme 790, replacing the Xtreme 780, and the Xtreme 840. Both laptops arw equipped with NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 280M graphics card with 1GB RAM, up to 6GB RAM, integrated Blu-ray drive and HDMI connector.

The Xtreme 790 is powered by Intel’s Core i7 processor and gets up to 1.5TB hard drive with RAID support. It has a 17-inch Full HD LCD display and offers an eSATA port. Rock’s Xtreme 840, instead, boasts Intel Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad processor, up to 1.5TB hard drive. It gets a 18.4-inch Full HD display. These notebooks start at GBP1999 and GBP1699 respectively.

There is a dual graphics version of the Xtreme 840, known as the Xtreme 840 SLI range, which is equipped with dual 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 graphics. It starts at GBP2299.

These notebooks all have WiFi 802.11b/g/n, a 7-in-1 card reader, four USB 2.0 ports and HDMI connector.
