Chinese company Inkia brings two new Atom-powered MIDs, the MID 5-inch and the MID 7-inch. These two MIDs have a 5-inch and 7-inch touchscreen respectively, both with 800×480 resolution. They run either Windows XP or Linux OS.
The MID 5-inch sports Intel’s Atom Z510/Z520/Z530 processor while the MID 7-inch packs an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor. Both devices have 1GB RAM and up to 32GB SSD storage. These MIDs feature built-in GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and 3G connectivity.
The 5-inch MID comes with a 3.2 Megapixel main camera and 0.3 Megapixel webcam and the 7-inch model has only the 0.3 Megapixel webcam. The former offers a microSD card slot while the latter boasts a SD/MMC slot.
The MID 7-inch is also availabl with VIA’s 250MHz processor and Windows CE 5.0. The 5-inch MID measures L160 x W95 x H22mm and weighs 350g. The 7-inch MID measures 205 x W130 x H20.8mm and weighs 700g.
