Sony releases its NWZ-X1000 series Walkman portable media player in the US market. First two models launched are the 32GB NWZ-X1061FBSMP and the 16GB NWZ-X1051FBSMP.
Sony’s X series Walkman features a 3-inch OLED touchscreen and built-in WiFi connectivity. It comes with S-Master digital amplifier, digital noise canceling function and support for Slacker radio. Thanks to built-in WiFi, Sony’s OLED Walkman can connect directly to YouTube and Yahoo.
Sony NWZ-X1000 series PMP supports MP3, WMA, AAC, L-PCM audio, AVC(H.264/AVC), MPEG-4, WMV and JPEG images. It has built-in GM tuner. It will be bundled with Sony MDR-NC20 Noise Canceling EX headphones.
The 32GB NWZ-X1061FBSMP and the 16GB NWZ-X1051FBSMP are priced at $399.99 and $299.99 respectively. They are available now from Sony Style.
