Sony Europe officially announced the NAS-Z200iR and CMT-Z100DiR iPod audio systems. The latter model has acutally been leaked few months ago. Both devices are basically sleek devices that combine CD player, iPod dock speaker and AM/FM Radio. They both do music playback from iPod/CD/USB and AM/FM radio.
Sony NAS-Z200iR is a WiFi-enabled iPod audio system. It is DLNA Certified, which means it does music streaming from PC. It can also connect to Internet Radio. The NAS-Z200iR comes with a remote control with a 3.5-inch large LCD display. The CMT-Z100DiR, on the other hand, lack WiFi connecitivity. It has a large display and is available in glossy black and white.
Both NAS-Z200iR and CMT-Z100DiR have built-in 20Wx2 speakers. They have USB ports for music playback from USB devices and audio-in port. They can be wall mounted with a VESA wall bracket.
Sony NAS-Z200iR and CMT-Z100DiR will be released in July and September respectively.
