Yamaha introduces the MusicCAST2 wireless network music system that supports music streaming to up to 32 rooms. The core of the MusicCAST2 system is the MCX-RC100 Network Music Commander remote control. It features a 3.5-inch LCD display showing album and song information.
Then you can get either the MCX-A300 Amplified Network Music Player or the MCX-P200
Pre-amp Network Music Player. With the former, you just add speaker while the latter upgrades your existing stereo system for WiFi reception.
These devices supports WiFi 802.11b/g. The MCX-RC100 Commander is priced at $500 while the MCX-A300 and MCX-P200 music players both cost $400. Comsumer may want to get the MusicCAST2 ZonePack Solution that includes the Commander and two MCX-A300 Amplified Network Music Players.
