Research In Motion (RIM) announced the new BlackBerry Tour 9630 smartphone, being spotted before, for the North America market. The Tour 9630 supports both 3G EV-DO Rev. A networks in the N.America as well as quad-band GMS/EDGE and 3G UMTS/HSPA (2100Mhz) networks. The dual-mode BlackBerry Tour, as the name suggests, allows you to stay connected across town and around the world.
BlackBerry Tour features a 2.44-inch 480×360 color display, a 3.2 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash, image stabilization, and video recording. It has a full QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth support, advanced media player, built-in GPS with geotagging and a 3.5mm stereo jack.
The Tour comes with 256MB internal flash memory and a microSD/SDHC card slot supporting up to 32GB cards. It offers easy mobile access to Facebook, MySpace and Flickr as well as popular IM networks.
The BlackBerry Tour 9630 will be released by Verizon and Sprint soon at about $199.99 with contract and after $150 mail-in rebate.
