As we have previously reported, Palm is going to release later the second webOS-based phone, the Palm Eos. Now we can confirm that AT&T is planning to offer the phone in second half 2009, as indicated on AT&T’s internal slide.
The Palm Eos will be powered by Qualcomm’s MSM7225 chipset and has 4GB internal memory. It has a 2.63-inch touchscreen display, a 2 Megapixel camera and a QWERTY keyboard. It supports Bluetooth and A-GPS. The phone is expected to be released with a price of $349 after $50 mail-in rebate.
