Sanyo announced for the US market the PLC-WXU700 WiFi-n LCD projector that is also known as the LP-WXU700. The projector is the world’s first to have WiFi 802.11n equipped. It features 1280×800 WXGA resolution, 3800 lumens brightness and 500:1 contrast ratio.
Thanks to WiFi-n, PLC-WXU700 does video streaming and playback supporting MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, and WMV video files. It has a USB port and offers Memory Viewer Function that can play images and videos saved on USB flash drives.
Sanyo PLC-WXU700 has HDMI, two D-Sub, S-Video and composite videos. There are also RS-232, two USB port and an Ethernet port. It will be available in June 2009 for a suggested price of $2995.
