Motorola introduces the new FX7400 series business-class fixed radio-frequency identification (RFID) reader. The FX7400 is a compact, lightweight RFID reader that can be installed under point-of-sale counters, behind walls or on ceilings, perfect for item-level tracking, retail inventory management, file tracking and asset management applications.
Motorola’s FX7400 is industry’s first plenum rated RFID reader and it offers Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity. Models with two- and four- antenna port configurations are available. It will be available in Q3 2009.
