KDDI au announced that it has partnered with Sharp to introduce a new waterproof solar-powered mobile phone, which is a part of KDDI’s Green Road Project. With just 10 minutes of sunlight charge, the phone offers 1 minute of talk time and 2 hours of standby time.
The solar waterproof phone will be a clamshell and will be released in June 2009.
