AMD introduces the new ATI Radeon HD 4890 graphics card, which is the latest addition to the company’s Radeon HD 4000 series. The Radeon HD 4890 has a graphics engine with a clock speed at nearly 1GHz and offers a 1.36 TeraFLOPs of processing power.
ATI’s new graphics card uses GDDR5 memory providing twice the data per pin of GDDR3 memory. It features Enhanced Anti-Aliasing & Anisotropic Filtering, CrossFireX Technology, Unified Video Decoder 2 (UVD 2), Accelerated Video Transcoding (AVT) and Upscale Beyond 1080p.
AMD ATI Radeon HD 4890 uses PCI Express 2.0 x16 bus interface and has HDMI output and Integrated AMD Xilleon HDTV encoder. It supports Microsoft DirectX 10.1.
