With the huge success of the Touch Diamond, HTC presents the succeeding model, the Touch Diamond2 at the MWC 2009. The Touch Diamond2 is the non-QWERTY version of the new Touch Pro2 but with a smaller display and better camera.
HTC’s Touch Diamond2, like the Touch Pro2, is powered by a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7200A processor, 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM. It has a 3.2-inch 480×800 LCD touchscreen display, a 5 Mwegapixel auto focus camera, GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP, FM radio, G-Sensor, and a microSD card slot.
The compact Touch Diamond2 comes with HTC’s new TouchFLO 3D UI and the Zoom bar for easy zooming. It runs Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional. The phone works with 900/2100 MHz HSDPA/WCDMA and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks.
