AMEX Digital introduces the new BD-P1 Blu-ray disc player. The BD-P1 plays single- and dual-layer BD-R and BD-RE and BD-ROM discs. It can also upconvert DVD content to 720p, 1080i or 1080p video via HDMI 1.3.
AMEX Digital’s BD-P1 has Ethernet and USB 2.0 ports for network functions. It Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD high-resolution surround as well as Dolby TrueHD. In addition to Blu-ray, the BD-P1 reads DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD and CD-R/RW discs and plays also MP3, MWA and JPEG files.
