Garmin offers the eTrex Vista H (left) and eTrex Legend H (right) handheld GPS receivers for hikers and climbers. Both eTrex Vista H and Legend H have 24MB internal memory for extra data storage. They have integrated high-sensitivity, WAAS-enabled GPS receiver for quick and precise positioning.
Their basemap includes lakes, rivers, cities, interstates, national and state highways, railroads and coastlines. The IPX7 waterproof eTrex Vista H and Legend H have a 4 level gray LCD with 160×288 resolution and USB interface. The eTrex Vista H offers also Electronic compass and Barometric altimeter.
Garmin’s eTrex Vista H and Legend H are priced at $199.99 and $149.99 respectively.
