Acer announced two new laptops, the TravelMate 6593 and the TravelMate 6493 corporate and small-to-medium (SMB) business customers. Both laptops are based on Intel’s Centrino 2 Processor with vPro Technology and comes with integrated Intel GMA 4500 MHD graphics.
Acer TravelMate 6593 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 2.53GHz processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM. It has a 15.4-inch 1280×800 Acer CrystalBrite LCD display . Acer’s TravelMate 6493, on the other hand, packs an Intel Core 2 Duo T8400 2.53GHz processor, 3GB of memory, and a 14.1-inch 1280×800 LCD screen.
Both TravelMate 6593 and the TravelMate 6493 have a 250GB hard drive, a DVD SuperMulti DL burner, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, 5-in-1 card reader and an Acer Crystal Eye Webcam. They run Windows Vista Business.
The TravelMate 6593 is priced at $1499 while the price of 6493 ranges from $1099 to $1299.
