Sharp presents the third generation AQUOS Blu-ray players, the BD-HP22U and BD-HP16U. Both players can delivers 1080p Full HD output.
Sharp’s AQUOS BD-HP22U and BD-HP16U feature the AQUOS Pure Mode, 1920 x 1080 video at 24 frames per second output, HDMI 1.3 digital output with x.v. color, and integrated JPEG viewer. These Blu-ray players can read BD-ROM/RE/R, DVD Video, DVD-RW/R, DVD+RW/R and audio CDs and supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio via HDMI digital output.
The Sharp AQUOS BD-HP22U supports BD-ROM Profile 2.0,or the BD-Live for interactive features through an Ethernet jack-enabled Internet connection. It comes with also a 2GB USB memory.
The Sharp AQUOS BD-HP22U will be launched in May for $299.99 while the BD-HP16U will be available for $279.99 in May.
