If Sony’s new HD camcorders are too high-end for you, consider Sony’s DCR-SR87, DCR-SR67 and DCR-SR47 standard definition hard drive-based camcorders.
Sony’s 80GB DCR-SR87, 80GB DCR-SR67 and 60GB DCR-SR47 Handycam camcorders features 60X optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD touch panel display, and support for Memory Stick PRO Duo media.
The DCR-SR87 has a 1 Megapixel CCD image sensor while the DCR-SR47 will come in red, blue and silver.
Sony DCR-SR87, DCR-SR67 and DCR-SR47 Handycam video recorders will be available in February for about $500, $450 and $400, respectively.
