PS Audio is going to presents at the CES 2009 its PerfectWave Transport Memory Player, the world’s first HRx disc player. Created by Reference Recordings, the HRx format is basically high quality WAV on DVD media.
HRx discs cannot be played on traditional DVD or DVD-Audio players. It delivers 24-bit, 176kHz sound.
