Fujitsu Siemens adds to its SCALEO Home Server lineup two new models, the 2205 nd 2105. The SCALEO 2205 has two 1TB hard drives while the SCALEO 2105 gets two 500GB drives. Western Digital’s Caviar Green SATA hard drives are being used for reducing power consumption.
Each SCALEO Home Server can hold up to four SATA hard drives. Fujitsu Siemens SCALEO Home Server has two front and two rear USB ports, two eSATA ports and a gigabit LAN port. The SCALEO is based on Intel’s Celeron processor and has Twonky Media Server preloaded for uPnP audio and video streaming.
