Buffalo announces the new LinkStation Quad network storage. The new LinkStation Quad offers up to 4TB of storage capacities and and support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, JBOD setup. It can hold to four 1TB SATA 7200RPM hard drives.
The Buffalo LinkStation Quad comes with built-in BitTorrent client and DLNA multimedia server for digital media streaming. Other than 1000 Mbps 10BASE-T LAN, the LinkStation Quad supports also USB 2.0 interface offering a max of 480Mbps transfer rate.
Three models are available now:
- 1 TB LS-Q1.0TL/R5 – $499
- 2 TB LS-Q2.0TL/R5 – $699
- 4 TB LS-Q4.0TL/R5 – $999
