LG officially launches its KC910 slim 8 Megapixel mobile phone that is also known as the Renoir in Europe. The KC910 Renoir is the successor of the Viewty. LG’s KC910 is a full touchscreen mobile phone with a 3-inch touch display. It has a 8 Megapixel auto focus camera with Xenon flash, face, smile, blink detection, geo-tagging. There is also a VGA front camera for video calls.
The Renoir supports Quad-band GSM and 3G HSDPA 2100/900 (there is also American version that supports UMTS 850/1900). It comes with also WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, integrated GPS/aGPS, built-in accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and a microSD card slot. It has integrated media player that supports DivX and XivD playback, FM tuner and document viewer.
The phone will be available in October in Europe then in Asia, Latin America and CIS in November, the Middle East and Africa in December and China in January of 2009.
The phone is known as LG Cooky in Korea.
