Finally, RIM’s BlackBerry Storm, the first touchscreen Blackberry, is now officially announced and will be available from Verizon and Vodafone next month. The Blackberry Storm supports EV-DO Rev.A, HSDPA 2100MHz and quad-band EDGE, which allows users to travel around the world using the same Storm.
The BlackBerry features a 3.26-inch 480×360 glass display that has a clickable surface like real buttons, a 3.2 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash, 1GB internal memory, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Storm is bundled 8GB microSD card slot. It can do also automatic orientation, like the iPhone, and Copy-and-paste that iPhone cannot offer.
Of course the phone comes with a full HTML browser and is able to open and edit Word, Excel, Powerpoint files.
