BenQ joins the netbook market by announcing the new Joybook Lite U101 netbook, which is available in 8.9-inch and 10.1-inch models. Powered by an Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, the Joybook Lite U101 1GB of memory and about 80GB hard drive.
It features WiFi, Bluetooth and Ethernet LAN connectivity. You may also want to get the optional 3G WWAN module (BenQ U101W ). It has also a 4-in-1 card reader, an integrated 1.3 Megapixel webcam and three USB ports.
The Joybook Lite U101 runs either Windows XP or Linux OS. THe 8.9-inch version will be released in October and the 10.1-inch edition in November.
