Delta announced the development of the first full HD LED projector for home theater. This new LED DLP projector offers 1080p resolution, and wide color gamut. It utilize the PhlatLight LED from Luminus Devices, replacing the lamp. The LED module has over 20,000 hours of normal operation, which sets users free from lamp replacement.
“The LED illumination system replaces the lamp, the color wheel and the shutter of a traditional projector. What is crucial is the need for a precise and complex control algorithm that allows the LED to work with the DMD to get high image quality.”
