Sony introduces its new Cyber-Shot DSC-T500 compact digital camera. Sony’s T500 is a 10 Megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss 5x optical zoom lens, 2x digital zoom, ISO up to 3200 and Optical SteadyShot image stabilization.
Cyber-shot T500 is able to record full screen 720p video at 30fps and MPEG4 AVC/H.264 codec are used for video compression and stereo audio. It offers also dual photo and video capture mode which allows users to capture three photos, by pressing the photo button, during video recording without interruption.
T500 comes with also Face Detection, a 3.5-inch large touchscreen LCD display, and support for HDMI. Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T500 will be available in September for $400.
