If you don’t like Olympus’ new 1040 and 1050SW slim cameras, consider the new SP-565 UltraZoom digital camera. The SP-565UZ is basically a redesigned SP-570UZ with a smaller and lighter body.
Olympus SP-565UZ is also a 10 Megapixel camera. It features a ED-branded 20x optical zoom lens, ISO up to 6400, Face detection, manual control, in-camera editing and the TruePic III image processor. The SP-565UZ offers the Dual Image Stabilization that combines the benefits of Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization and Digital Image Stabilization.
The SP-565UZ has a 2.5-inch LCD display, 48MB internal memory and support for xD Picture Card and microSD. It will be released in October for $399.99.
