Orange and BIC jointly announced the BIC phone, a “simple cell phone that is 100% ready to go.” Orange’s BIC phone is really a simple phone that can only make/send and receive phone calls and SMS text messages.
The BIC phone is produced by TCL and distributed with the brand Alcatel. It wil come with 60 free minutes, valid for 2 months from the time the phone is activated and “n order to receive all 60 minutes of free time, clients must identify themselves to Orange service agents.”
Availabble in Green and Orange, the phone will be launched in August for Euro 49 including tax. It will be sold in Metropolitan France only.
