Here comes DXG‘s challenger, Lancerlink from Japsn. Lancerlink introduces the DDV-1080HD, that is an entry–level HD camcorder.
The Lancerlink DDV-1080HD comes with a 5 Megapixel image sensor and is able to record 1,440 x 1,080 videos at 30fps or 1,280 x 720 videos at 60fps in H.264 format. It features a 3-inch LCD monitor and 90MB internal memory.
The DDV-1080HD supports SD, MMC and SDHC memory cards, HDTV component output and USB connectivity. The camcorder is priced at 49800 Yen, that is more pricey than DXG.
