Samsung officially unveiled the new i900 Omnia (aka i908) touchscreen smartphone. The i900 Omnia is based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro OS. i900 Omnia is a 3G/Quad-band mobile phone with HSDPA support. It features a 3.2-inch widescreen display, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera, and integrated GPS navigation. The 5MP camera does also smile detection and auto-panorama shot.
The i900 is available in 8GB and 16GB and there is also a microSD card slot for expansion. Samsung i900 Omnia supports also WiFi, Bluetooth, and has integrated FM tuner with RDS and USB ports. Let’s see if the i900 can challenge the new 3G iPhone.
