Greenest Electronic Gadgets – Sony is the Winner

GreenPeace has assessed 37 products from 14 companies and has evaluated their degree of environmental friendliness gainst four sets of criteria: (1) use of hazardous chemical substances1, (2) energy efficiency, (3) product lifecycle and (4) innovations and marketing.

The result shows that Sony and HP are doing quite well in the assessment. In notebook category, Sony VAIO TZ11 is the greenest. For PDAs Sony Ericsson P1i has done a good job while it T650i tops Mobile phone section.
