Magellan introduces the MobileMapper CX, a professional handheld GPS devicefor GIS users. Running the latest Microsoft Win CE.NET 5.0 OS, the device comes with Magellan’s Mobile Mapping software.
The software provides all functions GIS users need most, including key GIS data logging capabilities, such as GIS feature libraries for logging feature descriptions; support for logging point, line and area features; an offset function for logging hard to reach features. It also includes a nesting function that allows customers to log features without closing other features already being logged.
The MobileMapper CX supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. It has a SD card supporting up to 4GB of card for users to load maps and GIS data.
