Canon announced the new EOS-1Ds Mark III high-end DSLR camera with a full-frame sensor. The professional camera sports a full-size 36 x 24 mm CMOS image sensor with 21.1 Megapixel resolution. To provide high-performance and super high-quality images, it packs two DIGIC III image processing engines.
The 1Ds Mark III features an advanced AF system with 45 AF points including 19 high-precision cross-type points and 26 Assist AF points. It features 5fps shooting rate for bursts of up to 56 Large/Fine (21-megapixel) JPEGS or 12 RAW images. Also included is the EOS Integrated Cleaning System complete dust management solution.
The high-end EOS comes with a 3-inch LCD display and supports Live View with 100% field view for framing, composing and shooting using the LCD screen.
The Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III will be shipped in November and will be priced at$7,999.
